Nurturing Her Potential

Nurturing Her Potential is an empowering and transformative program dedicated to nurturing the growth and development of young girls. Through mentorship, skill-building workshops, and personal exploration, the program aims to instill confidence, self-esteem, and a sense of purpose in each participant. Our program equips girls with the tools they need to navigate life’s challenges, make informed decisions, and embrace their unique identities.

We have collaborated with Be A 9th Wonder for the past several years to bring a unique empowerment program for teen girls in Costa Rica and Australia! This two-day basketball and mental health program for girls 7-16 years allows them to explore their own stories on and off the courts. The coaches walk through what it takes physically, emotionally and mentally to win games in basketball but more importantly, to be ready for what life brings as we grow up in this world.

80 girls split into three groups of theory and practical work, students will learn intensive skills training, offense and defense practices, as well as discussions on mindset, self-love, self-care strategies and teen dating abuse awareness! Students share lunch together and return home feeling more confident, re-assured and hopeful for the future.
